Course Description 

This is an entry course for anyone who wants to get into reading. If you are an avid reader, you will enjoy this course as well. The books are all penned after 2016 by Canadian authors (except one who is a New York Times best seller). Students will explore themes that are important today without being bogged down by archaic languages. Discussions in this course allow students to connect deeper with others and the world developing empathy.
